30-07-2021

On behalf of Play Wales, Dr Pete King and Dr Justine Howard at Swansea University are undertaking research about the play workforce in Wales. The researchers are gathering information to inform the study via an online survey.

The survey is open to anyone in Wales who works with children and young people that uses a play or playwork approach. This includes practitioners within playwork, childcare, early years and youth work. It is also open to other professionals who use play, such as hospitals, prisons, refuges and residential care. The survey is open to both paid and voluntary staff.

By completing the survey, participants will be helping Play Wales and the researchers to find out the current state of the play workforce in Wales.

The research has been approved by Swansea University’s College of Human and Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee.

Closing date for completing the survey: 17 September 2021

For more information, please contact Dr Pete King or Dr Justine Howard.
