Funding: The OWL Collaboration
The Ernest Cook Trust’s OWL Collaboration grant will cover costs for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to attend a week’s residential visit to an Outdoor Week of Learning (OWL). OWL is a centre focusing on environmental and farm-based learning.
The OWL Collaboration welcomes applications from organisations in the UK, including:
- Environmental and farm-based outdoor learning centres
- Registered charities
- Those who provide residential accommodation for school groups.
The fund has been developed as an immediate response to the experiences of young people during Covid-19, including mental health issues and the effects of the pandemic on social development.
