New publications from Play Scotland
Play Scotland has launched two new publications – a guide to creating accessible play spaces and a Parents’ Play Pack to provide information on play for children aged between eight and twelve years old.
The new guide - Free to Play – A guide to creating accessible and inclusive public play spaces, has been written by Theresa Casey and Harry Harbottle and aims to assist community groups to creating inclusive and accessible play spaces for children in Scotland.
The guide is aimed at community groups who recognise there’s a need for more accessible play spaces for children of all ages and abilities in their area.
The Parent’s Play Pack has been created for parents and carers to provide information on play for eight to twelve-year-old children. It includes up-to-date information on play and tips on how to encourage children to go outside to play.
