Where’s your favourite place to play outdoors in Wales?

27-04-2018

The National Trust wants to hear about your emotional connections to outdoor spaces in Wales – where you go for a walk or on adventures or take your children to play. The stories will be used to inspire others to connect more with nature.

If your story is selected, rugby player Jamie Roberts, who spent his childhood exploring Wales with his family, will visit you at your selected place and accompany you on your adventure. Your experience will be filmed and shared on the National Trust’s website and social media.

This is an opportunity to share your favourite place to play and highlight the importance of outdoor play for children and young people.

The National Trust is also working with psychologists at Cardiff University to investigate whether time spent outdoors can help to improve wellness.

Deadline for applications: 7 May 2018
