Recruitment: Young Wales Board members
Young Wales is recruiting six new members, aged 11 to 18, to join its Project Board.
Young Wales is a forum to ensure that children and young people across Wales are heard on issues that are important to them and affect them, and that they are heard by the Welsh Government.
Becoming a Board member is an opportunity to engage in work that directly affects the lives of young people in Wales. The role involves advising the Young Wales team to develop, deliver and scrutinise their programmes of activities, meeting with Welsh Government Officials, Assembly Members, Members of Parliament and other key figures such as the Children's Commissioner and Future Generations Commissioner.
Members attend at least six meetings a year which are usually held on a Saturday or during school holidays.
Deadline for applications: 12:00pm 26 November 2018
